A new cement import terminal in Surabaya required a complete turnkey solution: ship unloader, conveying, storage, and truck loading. Requirements: 400 tph throughput, 20,000t storage, fully automated operation, and 24-hour ship turnaround.

Manxing delivered the complete terminal on a turnkey basis. The system includes: pneumatic ship unloader (400 tph), covered belt conveyors, 4 x 5,000t welded steel silos with fluidized bottoms, and 4 truck loading stations. The fully automated control system manages ship unloading, silo routing, and truck loading with minimal operator intervention. The dust collection system serves all transfer points.

The terminal handles 500,000+ tons of cement annually. Ship turnaround averages 20 hours. The automated system requires only 3 operators per shift. The client has expanded with a second terminal in Jakarta.
