Coal Silo
Manxing coal silos provide sealed, high-capacity storage for raw coal and washed coal in power plants, cement works and coking plants, with dust control and safe discharge design.
Introduction
Coal remains a major feedstock for power generation and cement production. Storing it safely and economically means controlling dust, preventing spontaneous combustion, and discharging reliably even when the material is wet or frozen. Manxing coal silos are engineered as welded or spiral steel structures with large storage sections, complete with level monitoring, explosion vents, inert-gas ports and dust collectors. The silo bottom is matched to the coal's particle size and discharge rate — flat-bottom with fluidized discharge for fine raw coal, or hopper-bottom for free-flowing screened coal — so the boiler or kiln feed stays steady.
