Slag Silo

Slag powder is a valuable cement additive and concrete supplementary material, but it is fine, abrasive and sensitive to moisture. Manxing slag silos are built as sealed welded or spiral steel silos with moisture-proof wall and roof details, internal level monitoring and abrasion-resistant discharge outlets. The silo works with the pneumatic conveying and weighing systems that feed the finish-grinding mill or concrete batching plant, keeping slag dry, homogenized and ready for use.
