A large ready-mix concrete company in the UAE needed sand storage silos for 4 batching plants. Requirements: mass flow discharge, wear protection, automated batching integration, and dust control for urban locations.

Manxing provided 4 x 500t bolted steel silos with mass flow hopper design (65° cone angle). The silos feature ceramic tile lining in the hopper section. Each silo is equipped with a slide gate and belt feeder for controlled discharge to the batching system. The dust suppression system uses water mist at transfer points. The batching system is fully automated with recipe management.

The batching plants produce 2 million m³ of concrete annually. The silos have eliminated the need for open sand storage yards, reducing land use by 60% and eliminating sand contamination from wind-blown dust.
