The client needed a cement import terminal at Luanda port capable of receiving cement from pneumatic ship unloaders and storing 5,000 tons for truck distribution across Angola. Key requirements: rapid ship turnaround (<24 hours), dust-free operation in port area, and reliable 24/7 truck loading capability.

Manxing designed and installed 4 x 1,250t bolted steel silos with fluidized bottoms. The system includes: pneumatic ship unloading connection, distribution system to route cement to any silo, multi-zone fluidization for reliable discharge, and two truck loading stations with integrated weighing. The dust collection system achieves <20 mg/Nm³ emissions. The control system enables single-operator management of the entire terminal.

The terminal has been operational since 2023, handling 200,000+ tons of cement annually. Ship turnaround time averages 18 hours. Zero dust complaints from port authority. The client has ordered a second phase expansion to 10,000 tons.
